The first ever Monsoon store was opened in 1973 after Peter Simon, the founder, had found inspiration from a road trip around Asia. He was marveled by the accentuation of colours from his experience. Indeed, the very first Monsoon collection featured gorgeous bohemian clothing made in Indian villages. Ten years later, Accessorize was born with the aim of giving the outfit the most beautiful and colourful finishing touches. Today, both Accessorize and Monsoon brands have an international established presence with over 1,000 stores worldwide.
